      The benefits and pay were nice.

      Unorganized Unprofessional Terrible shared services management Not allowed to speak up on issues Not allowed to disagree without reprimand. Petty/bully behavior from higher ups Systems are counterintuitive here Impossible to grow Vindictive atmosphere

      The pay is excellent, some of my co-workers were great.

      Cons

      VERY high stress. Police called to site multiple times for guns, knives, violence, sexual harassment, as well as multiple severe accidents, all of which should have been preventable. I felt my personal safety was at high risk on multiple levels and the company couldn't have cared less.

We appreciate employees sharing their feedback and always strive for employees to have the best experience while working with us. We provide comprehensive training to all our employees on workplace safety, workplace violence, and our anti-harassment policies. MYR immediately contacted and responded to an employee working at this subsidiary location who provided information, as noted here. After an internal investigation involving multiple interviews with managers and employees, MYR could not confirm any accidents or other safety incidents, police visits, or harassment that occurred, as alleged in this comment. We encourage any employees or former employees to contact the Human Resources Department should you have further information to share with us. Additionally, we are grateful for feedback regarding onboarding training, as we continuously work very diligently to improve our onboarding process.

      "Engaged Employer" or Micromanagers

      Pros

      Benefits are great. Company has pockets that are very well run. Business outlook is strong. Company is very financially sound.

      Cons

      You'll note anytime someone posts a negative review, 2 or 3 people from HR/Marketing post great positive reviews - trying to mask the negative. CEO is a micro-manager that can't seem to get out of the weeds. Company lacks bench strength and does not have the appropriate structure to support growth. CEO expects operations leadership to know everything about everything - rather than leaning on the true experts in the company. Classic example of a company that has topped out on where it can go with existing leadership.
