Our Resident Service Coordinators have the important job of promoting a professional and positive image of Mac by consistently going above and beyond in customer service for our residents. We aim to WOW every resident and visitor to our community. The position is a great way to begin your career with Mac; many of our managers started out as Resident Service Coordinators. We offer both part- and full-time positions as well as on-call shifts. And our managers go the extra mile to recognize and reward their great team as this review indicates: https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Employee-Review-Mac-Properties-RVW9572766.htm

Pros

Some great coworkers and mid-level team members who genuinely care and do their best under poor leadership.

Cons

This company experienced mass layoffs in October 2024, letting go of many hardworking, loyal employees—decisions that often appeared to be driven more by internal politics than actual performance. Even one of the few upper-level leaders who genuinely supported, trained, and empowered her team was let go, which raises serious questions about the values upheld by senior leadership. Upper management fosters a culture that often feels rooted in fear, favoritism, and a lack of accountability. I once overheard a senior leader making a monetary bet about whether a new hire would “survive” in their role—despite knowing the person would report to a notoriously difficult manager. That kind of behavior felt deeply unprofessional and discouraging. Employee wellbeing does not seem to be a priority. Facilities issues are frequently overlooked. In one instance, I saw visible signs of mold on a wall that were simply painted over instead of being properly remediated.
