Pros

Company has a real strong place in residential property management. great and varied assortment of properties. the design division of the company has some real solid and impressive talent on board.

Cons

too many of the senior people make decisions unilaterally, on short notice, and with no regard for process, procedure or protocol. it leaves the rest of the group running around to produce. the overall office environment can be incredible stifling and sterile. can feel very unwelcoming and unfriendly for new hires.

Pros

Very flexible shifts, Great for students, A lot of social interactions, very little supervision, friendly residents.

Cons

Certain older building are susceptible to plumbing issues. Residents can have drama that you will need to handle professionally. Very little parking options near certain buildings. You may have to fix the mistakes or lack of information that leasing agents forget to tell the prospective resident.

Our RSC (Front Desk) staff have the important responsibility of keeping our residents and their visitors happy, safe, and feeling welcomed. It is definitely a fun and unique job- and no two days are the same! We are continually making investments in our buildings and our customer service approach and delivery and are always open to suggested improvements. Thank you.

Pros

My direct manager taught me the skill set needed to get my current job (which is not with Mac). This company cares about their customer. The marketing philosophy was (and I assume still is) treat your customer well and they will sell the product for you.

Cons

Property management requires you spend a lot of time with customers. I was dealing with a lot of intimate issues. I saw lots of heartbreak and joy and the emotional roller coaster wore out some of my co-workers. My manager tolerated too much from burnt out employees.
