      Organized company, invests in growth but needs to invest more in people

      Pros

      - The company is organized with clear sales goals, IT infrastructure is phenomenal with SalesForce - Good company culture, diverse and inclusive

      Cons

      - Salary is decent if you make a lot of sales but otherwise the base is low - Not a lot of opportunities to grow - Seasonal work, slows down in winter and you need to work on Saturdays to be successful, although that is part of the industry role

      Transparent company who cares about employees

      Pros

      Our owner does frequent Q&A sessions with our entire 500 person company, answering any issues or questions in real-time via video call, which I think shows an incredible amount of transparency. The company also did not lay off a single employee of those 500 during the COVID-19 pandemic which is also highly respectable and had to be tough. I think how companies responded to the pandemic and treated their employees during that trying time shows a lot- and I was impressed with how Mac responded. Something to note if you are looking to work here. The KC office specifically also has great management currently, I look forward to coming to work.

      Cons

      The office is divided into too many segments, leasing on one side, resident services on the other and management in the middle. It makes sense for workflow but doesn't allow for any communication between leasing and the rest of the office. Everyone seems in their own bubble some days.

      Manager's are unprofessional

      Pros

      Pay is good. Good stepping stone to other sales careers.

      Cons

      Manager's have romantic relationships with those they supervise. Manager's get hired because they are related to owners but have no experience nor professionalism. They fire agents during the winter/slow season.
