      they have a flexible work schedule

      Cons

      •extremely poor leadership and management, especially with the acquisition of multiple companies causing confusion and delays with access to daily work operations and components •zero camaraderie or company culture •little to no concern for employee wellbeing. you are a number in a line at this company. •no incentives or meaningful recognition for performance, maybe someone will shout you out in the Slack shoutout channel •heavy focus on expanding teams in India (a couple hundred people and growing) while reducing U.S. headcount

      Despite the amount being less and less, they still pay you twice per month.

      Every single thing about this place is a con including calling yourself a global company because you utilize a small call center in India that only infuriates stateside callers.

      The little machine reinventing the service industry

      Pros

      Machinify is a small, pioneering company in a virtually boundless market. It provides a platform for developing end-to-end Machine-Learned (ML/AI) solutions to a broad group of industries. The potential prize is reinventing the service industry like Amazon reinvented retail, or Google & Facebook reinvented media & information. The leadership team is strategic and thoughtful. Both visionary and well-executing. Sales, business-strategy, engineering back-end, front-end, data-scientists and subject experts are all working with synergy and great efficiency together. The company is unusually diverse: young & old, women & men, from different origins & geographic locations. The machine that machinifies the world is well built. The company is moving forward towards achieving its potential faster than anywhere else I have worked before.

      Cons

      As a small startup, the company can't yet offer the same benefits a cash-rich established companies. Fortunately, this is expected to improve with time.
