Pros

They hire inexperience people, so you can start your path in the industry there. Benefit of being able to relax sometimes.

Cons

Very low paid and might need to work for long hours. In addition, expect the technology there is really out-dated, thus cannot learn a lot from there.

Pros

innovative, competitive environment brings best out in achievers. still a relatively small bank which allows it to be nimble vs competition and to win business. good people.

Cons

smaller. it's business model which has worked for the last 15 years now broken and the evolving business finding an environment of change tough to grow businesses across the board. Macquarie is growing and thus becoming less nimble. it is not a bank in the US so operates under cumbersome regulatory status and at times tough to do business.
