A good company finding times tough....

innovative, competitive environment brings best out in achievers. still a relatively small bank which allows it to be nimble vs competition and to win business. good people.

Cons

smaller. it's business model which has worked for the last 15 years now broken and the evolving business finding an environment of change tough to grow businesses across the board. Macquarie is growing and thus becoming less nimble. it is not a bank in the US so operates under cumbersome regulatory status and at times tough to do business.

- State-of-the-art Facilities and resources - Great communication between management - end of month drinks - excellent Macquarie parties (Christmas / EOY)

Cons

- Minimum wait for contractor to fulltime 1 year sometimes longer - Work / Life Balance non-existent - They use the name of "Macquarie Bank" to lure contractors with false promises of permanent placings after contractor roles. - Once fulltime, expect to work no less than 9-10hrs a day. - High expectations - No support for career advancement - High expectations not much recognition
