Pros

Got a lot of good management experience leading union employees.

Cons

You are constantly taken advantage of and the leadership cares more about using you for their store’s success more than actually training you to be a leader. Despite being a training program, no one really takes the time to show you anything. You are thrown to the wolves and have to sink or swim. I was able to swim, but if you can do that you just get frustrated and taken advantage of. You also have no life while having to work nights and weekends. You do not get compensated fairly for giving up your social life and company leadership cares more about slapping bandaids on problems than actually addressing the major issues that take place in stores. Overall it is a dying company and you have to choose if you want to be part of the politics that get you a small piece of the scraps.
