Pros

It is not bad to work at Macys as fitting room attendant, usually we don't have sales goal or any goal for opening new credit card, but it only depends on which store you are in, some stores even require fitting room attendant to open new account on a weekly basis.

Cons

Managements are kind of sucks, they want to do finish everything before you leave which is sometime not reasonable.

Pros

The benefits were decent, clothes discount, enjoyed working in my "area" that I was specialized in, hours were fine (outside of Christmas season)

Cons

Way too much pressure to open credit cards, I was a great sales associate and had the highest sales in the brand I was specializing in in the district, yet was constantly scolded for not opening up enough credit. I had a poor department manager who treated me like a child. She never helped out in our dept, just came up and gave us our numbers. I don't know where she was most of the time. And there was not enough opportunities to sell because we would be constantly cleaning out the fitting rooms and putting clothes away. They pay was very low and I had to find a new job because I have a Bachelors Degree and I know I could find something better.
