Pros

Interesting mix of clientele. Management who realizes that having a positive attitude is useful for sales associates. Stable management who have worked for the store for many years.

Cons

Eroding benefits. Stable management who have worked there for many years. Dinosaurs.

Pros

Best place to learn about retail with exposure to a variety of products and vendors. The work gets "too hands-on" sometimes, but it really is what it takes to learn so next time you will know how to manage through the process/big picture.

Cons

Pay can be a little bit more competitive considering the level of stress (especially during holidays) and the frequent over-8-hour days, monthly performance-based bonus would be really nice.

Pros

20% employee discount. If you do a great job they have awards and a dinner with the President that you receive.

Cons

The salary is terrible. Most entry level jobs start out at a 11.00 per hour or 30,000 a year. If you get lucky you get around 35,000 for analyst jobs.
