Pros

The people at the location I worked at were great. That is the main reason I keep working there. Sometimes you get some really rude customers, and your coworkers help you get past it by making you laugh or forget about it. How many of you can say you actually have fun at your job? I can.

Cons

The pay isn't the greatest for sales associates, but what can you expect? Sometimes the scheduling is difficult because you can't plan more than 2 weeks ahead.

Pros

The discount is pretty good, and they give you a prepaid card if you don't want the credit card. (Discounts are given through cards only.)

Cons

Management is poor, but you get that in many retail environments. The company isn't doing that great--was formerly Lazarus, but took the Macy's name and price points. Not much changed.

Pros

- Job security (you have to be stealing or just really incompetent to get fired) - A decent level of respect between managers and associates - Scorecard system lets you know just how well you are doing compared to your peers (no guesswork)

Cons

- Pay is AWFUL - Benefits are AWFUL - Loyalty, loyalty, loyalty (you are expected to open 3 credit accounts per week) - Just an all around cheap, greedy company
