they did a very poor job when thy took over strawbridges. the store i went to was very un welcoming of its transplants from strawbridges. They looked down upon us. The store manager treated us as if we were all idiots and had never worked n retail before. We were told we had to earn our respect. The store manager was given recommendations from strawbridges seinor management. Recomendations were given Macys own transition team for placement and promotions all of this information was ignored. We were treated as if we did not have any skill or acomplishments.

Mid-level managers were lacking in leadership abilities. Some were not good planners...this put extra strain on other workers. The number of sales associates available on the floor was low. This caused customers to become upset when they could not find a way to complete their sales and leave. Again, this added to the strain of workers and it seemed like they were not happy to be there working.
