Pros

Great way to gain experience in retail.

Cons

Rule violations, HIGH turnover rate, rude/intimidating co-workers & Management staff. Commission fraud is a VERY big problem and favoritism by management allows such.

Pros

A well known company. Large scale projects. Lots of classes for personal development. Actual budgets to try new things (technology, marketing programs, partnerships). Some very smart people.

Cons

Blatant age discrimination (look at the demographics of the last few rounds of layoffs). If you are a job seeker and over 50, don't bother applying. If you are over 50 and an employee, you can expect a severance package soon. Deeply entrenched fiefdoms and politics. Back stabbing and sabotage are routine. Zero chance for advancement unless your boss is over 50 and gets laid off.
