      Pros

      You can take a random day off without penalty.

      Cons

      2 and 3 hour shifts and late evenings in a commission area is not worth my time. No work life balance. Gas cost me more a day then I was getting paid. They kept promising to fix it, but never did. Horrible experience.

      Pros

      Some employees enjoyable and discount & Macy's money good, but BEWARE! it's a way to get you to plow your pathetic pay back into Macy's.

      Cons

      Full time employees should be able to have a set schedule. Week-to-week, day-to-day the schedule changes. I worked every holiday except Xmas day. The scheduling is inhumane and any extra effort you make is ignored.

      Pros

      A lot of money is spent on technology. New technology is being explored in several areas. Great location.

      Cons

      Regardless of the group, these items are prevalent - this is part of the culture. Not committed to continual technical education for associates. Not committed to partnering with the IT community in Atlanta (not supporting groups like TAG, WIT, MTL, etc.). Very political and adversarial between groups. Instead of all working together so all succeed, the culture supports and rewards working to only make yourself successful. No understanding of team. Benefits are not good.
