Pros

The class rates are $9 plus a bonus for being on time (10 minutes before the class) of $1. they pay for training and 1v1 interview.

Cons

So many, let me think of the primordial ones: - Its all lie, they tell you they will book classes for you but in reality, your schedule will be empty for weeks, meaning that if you don't have a side job, you won't be making any money on ME. They might book you one class per week maximun 2 if you're lucky. - Yes the payment is "good" and average compared to other platforms, but keep in mind you will be overly analyzed and critiqued during your sessions, one parent complaint about having your arm in the table, or moving your chair to the side, or having your hand in the waist while you talk or ridiculous stuff like not smiling enough or not being overly content or acting as a circus clown will get you suspended. They practically want you to exhaust your face muscles by showing yourself as if you were high on drugs for the kids to like you, as they will stand over this more than your teaching skills or your experience in the classroom or anything else about you. - You will receive tons of emails criticizing your work every day and telling you how you're doing it wrong according to them, which is an unfounded opinion, as their teaching orientation is not realistic or based on a curriculum. - If you miss one class, they will take you off the grid and take $20 from your earnings and also take off the other classes you may have booked next, they will take those out as well and charge you $20 for each class they took off from your schedule. So you may lose up to $100 if you had a full-on schedule. - The onboarding process its outdated, they will make you go through extreme onboarding processes, several interviews and mediocre training about how to smile more or how to act ridiculous.

Pros

The pro of Magic Ears is that they are flexibe.

Cons

The hiring proess is a joke. I was offered a contract but turned it down. I was offered less money with a MA than someone with a BA and I met the requirements for this according to my recruiter. Then, the recruiter tried to convince me to work for ME with less pay than my current job by almost begging and saying that I should do at least 2 or 3 lessons.
