      Review of Paoli Hospital, Bedside RN

      Pros

      Competitive hourly compensation, yearly raises have kept up with inflation. Small hospital with supportive and friendly staff. Great collaboration across the teams to provide excellent patient care. Staff is kind and caring and patients always compliment our care above other hospitals in the area. Administration rounds on the units and is open to feedback. A good environment for learning and opportunities for growth as an RN.

      Cons

      Hospital has been at or above capacity for better part of a year and that puts stress on the whole system. Under staffed most of the time and not as much in bonus incentives have been offered to help with the shortages. Despite the pressure of being overcrowded, administration is still pushing new initiatives and asking staff to do more even though there are not enough staff or resources for the current population. Administration cut yearly bonus by 75% in 2023.

      Pros

      I work with so many talented individuals at so many levels and always feel supported by my team and leaders. There are opportunities for advancement and MLH encourages internal mobility. I have been given the opportunity to work on projects and collaborate with other teams. MLH encourages a healthy work -life balance which is huge! Great company- great people and excellent patient care!

      Cons

      Benefits for new employees start the first of the month following the first 30 days of employment.
