      Pros

      Competitive hourly compensation, yearly raises have kept up with inflation. Small hospital with supportive and friendly staff. Great collaboration across the teams to provide excellent patient care. Staff is kind and caring and patients always compliment our care above other hospitals in the area. Administration rounds on the units and is open to feedback. A good environment for learning and opportunities for growth as an RN.

      Cons

      Hospital has been at or above capacity for better part of a year and that puts stress on the whole system. Under staffed most of the time and not as much in bonus incentives have been offered to help with the shortages. Despite the pressure of being overcrowded, administration is still pushing new initiatives and asking staff to do more even though there are not enough staff or resources for the current population. Administration cut yearly bonus by 75% in 2023.

      They are fair with salary and benefits are great. They respect their employee and our options.

      Excellent pay. Great Benefits. Plenty of PTO. Top administration is strong.

      Cons

      Lower level management is often disconnected/unqualified and makes irrational decisions. When asked, they can't explain their decisions.
