Pros

Good tuition reimbursement, there is always opportunities for career growth. Participates in clinical ladder and provides compensation. Good benefits with a decent amount of paid time off

Cons

Not enough staff ever on weekends. There is a real possibility of mandating employees to work every third weekend when we were all hired for every fourth weekend- this is unwanted and a real employee dissatisfier. Although we have clinical ladder, it has become increasingly more difficult to achieve each year and the pay has not increased for clinical ladder in at least five years.

-Competitive benefit package with many different options. -Hard work is rewarded with salary increases every year based on performance. -Employee input is frequently sought in the decision-making process and feedback is always encouraged as an opportunity to learn. -There are many career opportunities to fit an employee's needs. -Diversity is encouraged and respected. -It truly feels like you work with a "team" and employees genuinely feel empowered by the company's mission. -Work/life balance is encouraged.

Cons

There really are none, as long as your expectations are realistic. Healthcare is a 24/7, 365-day-a-year business, and the work being done is important to the community.
