      Pay has now adjusted to the market Good benefits

      Cons

      For years the pay was way too low Flat night shift diff Focus is on how industry looks diverse vs taking care if it’s employees No raises, no 403B match, and no pension growth during covid Acuity is high, lack of adequate ancillary staff (even prior to crisis), and patient ratios are not as good as neighboring hospitals

      Support and help from other managers is all you'll get.

      Cons

      Lack of advancement unless you know someone or you suck up to senior leadership and are the right (light) skin color. Lack of direction from directors. They are very inexperienced and only get promoted because of who they know or how much you're willing to pile on your plate for them Providers RUN the system. They have no accountability and are abusive to staff and managers. They do what they want, as long as they bring in the revenue.
