Pros

The HR woman Gloria was nice. She tried a lot to make the office a pleasant place. A couple of the female executives were really nice. I guess free tea? That’s about it. My co workers were cool.

Cons

Micromanagement, owner incessantly checking on how things are going. Unrealistic expectations. No proper tools to recruit with. Everyone had to share one career builder account and I was discouraged from even using it. They have this training program they make you do online but don’t provide any formal training on the subject matter. It’s literally just a training on how to be a salesperson/ recruiter . Healthcare staffing is a really cut throat environment and very competitive, So be prepared to make 100 calls a day and maybe reach one person who absolutely wants nothing to do with you. It’s monotonous, the office is so outdated and bland, and it just felt really depressing to me in there. I’m not saying it can’t work for someone, but it takes a certain type of person to work there. I suppose that’s just sales in general though. It was my second job in an agency and it literally left the worst taste in my mouth. If you’re going to enter sales as an entry level recruiter try something a bit more up to date, more like a start up. This is just soooo old school. Not millennial friendly. In fact I remember the owner saying that everyone who quit was because they were lazy and millennials. So untrue. They just don’t know how to manage people properly. Ironic given the name of the business lol. Also horrible commission structure. Awful.
