The company has several drawbacks. The politcal game is king and performance takes a back seat to reality. Managment has no respect for the employees full or part time unless they are involved outside the biz. The layoff mentality is rampant and you survive by kissing up. Been there 20 years and the seperation has been growing steadily sinced they merged withADT. Performance means nothing its all political. You only hope that you or the person your hooked up with is able to remain flavor of the week. You know when they are going to rub you out when they start looking through you instead of at you. I've seen it happen to 20+ people here alone. I know its company wide.

Management is terrible. They get rid of employees who have been there and have positive relationships with customers in exchange for cheaper labor. They always look for ways to cut costs but NEVER once discussed how to increase the business and improve customer service. Management used the economy as an excuse for the poor performance of the auction and employee layoffs. Poor evaluation reviews. Department managers seem afraid to hurt employees feelings. They don't give timely feedback and when they do it is not helpful. Most of the department managers lack management skills and education. The GM/AGM had nearly no contact with employees. They seemed to go through department managers to communicate with lower level employees. Its like they wanted this wall between them as senior managers and the lower level employees.
