Pros
First, lets be clear, The Manitowoc Company does not have anything to do with Food Service equipment anymore. The company was split back in March 2016. Also, Glen Tellock is no longer the CEO, Barry Pennypacker is the new President and CEO. There were many pros at one time, but those have all gone away it seems. It was a wonderful place to work where people where dedicated to serving customers, but ignorance and wall street intervened.
Cons
1) There is no consistent strategy except cut your way to profitability. That is a bad strategy and will end in failure. 2) Honesty no longer is tolerated at Manitowoc. Promises are made then forgotten. 3) The new leadership does not seem to understand the products or services Manitowoc offers. 4) The company is ruled through cliques, so if are not in one, you are out. 5) Finally, the same staff that guided the ship into its current condition are the same ones guiding it today.
