This company is excellent with highly competitive benefits and wages. There is a culture focused on more than clocking out at the end of the day. The staff here lean on each other in bad times and provide a shoulder for others in good times. This isn't a workplace, it's a family.

Cons

Unless you're already established and looking to become a director, there are no stepping stones for growth. You will stay in the same job for years simply for lack of open positions. They are also unwilling to create new positions.

Management SUCKS! Favoritism Lack of resources I was with Marin General Hospital for almost 4 years. I consider myself a great employee, my performance evaluation also reflects this. Took it upon myself to learn different areas of my department. Even took several classes and received certifications. Management always seem to look the other wayand prefer to promote other colleagues. No equal opportunity here. They don't offer Kaiser and their HMO plan sucks. People in HR are lazy. Overall, stay away from this place.
