Pros
I started working here right out of college and didn’t really know what to expect. I’d heard good things about the company, but the idea of working at a high-end finance company was really intimidating to me. However, instead of it being cutthroat like I expected, everyone was really nice and helpful during my first few weeks. They answered any questions I had and worked really hard to make sure I felt comfortable at work and like part of the team.
The training program, in particular, was amazing. I feel like after I completed it, I knew so much more about finance AND sales than I ever expected to. It really opened up my future career paths and gave me so many more options for what I want to do when I (eventually) leave Mariner, although right now I’m very happy and don’t see myself leaving anytime soon.
Finally, the starting pay is AMAZING, throw in commission and I was making way more than I expected for my first job. On top of that, they give you great benefits, too. I know I probably sound unbelievably enthusiastic about my time here, but it’s just been a really good experience and I wanted to share it!
