Pros

Pay is decent for my area . Benefits are decent. 3 weeks of paid time off . 10 paid holidays.

Cons

Management is a joke from the branch manager all the way up to the corporate office . Including the hr dept . I laugh every time I see HR respond to a review. All the negative reviews you read are true . You would think something would be done about it . Your hard work for this company will not pay off . They play favorites . I have seen horrible long term employees still have jobs after showing up constantly late for work , sleeping at their desk . Taking extended lunches . And yes upper management knows and does nothing because they do not want to have to hire and train new employees.

Pros

You have a job, holidays off, and learn something new everyday.

Cons

The salaries posted on here are not what we actually make! I would like to know who's getting paid like this? I have been a branch manager with the previous company that was bought out by Mariner Finance, for seven years and with them now for a year. Since then my work load has tripled, my goals are ridiculous, there was a serious lack of training, upper management talks to us with lack of respect and in a demeaning tone, and we do not get bonuses. We are supposed to motivate our staff to work like animals with no incentive.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear the transition with Mariner Finance hasn’t met your expectations and that you feel you aren’t being compensated appropriately. We truly understand the value of our employees and we will continue to work with upper management to improve our support and training approaches. Pros

Amen, I'm out of there.

Cons

This is company have brought out Sunbelt in 2014, and gave all Sunbelt employee a bonus $$$ which was a set up from Hell. When they came on board started firing Sunbelt employee's and Manager's , and now a few are left. They took our hour lunch away, bonuses, and our freedom. They want a tracker very minute on the hour, need book a lot of loans very month, delinquency have to at ridiculous low percentage, work very other Saturday, 30 min lunch, scan file, micromanage, call one customer 300 times a day, no room to grow, too much favoritism, dont care about their employee's , you have over one million log to do in one day, such as; , bathroom log, bank log, down payment log, vacation log, tracker log, and Etc, you will start receiving emails from 9am til 5pm from upper management, they don't care about your safety, lack of office supplies, one day they want loans and the other day solicit all day long, and I feel bad for co workers, thank God i am out of there because this company is a joke.
