Pros

Good friendships develop working here pay isn't bad especially for a first job. they hire minors flexible most of the time

Cons

always on your back about credit cards. i dont care about your damn cards always short staffed to save money have to stay past clocking out and wait for the managers to get themselves together, so youre not being paid for whatever extra time youre in the store for. don't respect time, i'm forced to work weekends if i need a consistent schedule. I do work and school so i get not time for myself customers complain all the time, i work in a top store and the area sucks. customers treat you like dirt managers have gotten snarky to past employees who found better opportunity elsewhere. no opportunity

Pros

They are pretty relaxed there. They try to answer all of your questions and train you in whatever area they need you.

Cons

There may be favorites. You don't always get as many hours as you'd like, especially during the months of January through march.

Okay Cashier job

Pros

-10% discount with a slip (20% once every quarter) -Friendly associates -Fairly good merchandise to buy

Cons

-Terrible communication with management. Each manager has their own sets of rules. -Push TJX Rewards Credit Card apps like it's the most important thing. -Not enough Cashiers available at a particular amount of time. It puts "back-up" cashiers, who are associates who work on the sales floor, under stress.
