Never a set schedule, in-competent managers, you have to work 1 full calendar year before you can get any vacation time, plus you have work 6 months before you are eligible for benefits. No benefits for part-time or vacation time. Raises are a joke...worked 1 full year with great reviews & received a 1% raise of 15 cents. You are never alloted enough time to complete everything in a business day, they run extremely lean & expect the world from you with very little support of additional people to accomplish the tasks at hand. They constantly push credit, credit, credit...which I get from a business perspective, but am completely against...they are preying on the weak who do not payoff their balances to earn more dollars on interest. Upper levels of management are living in the ivory towers & expect the world from those in the trenches who are paid very little. Then again that is all of retail.

After two weeks with working for Marshalls as a sales associate, I was treated awfully by both employees and even the management. I was working for this company for less than six months before I was injured at work due to their lack of safety for the employees. I was officially diagnosed with a hairline fracture to my right foot, and due to this I was suggested I file an injury claim, after this CLAIM my hours were cut drastically to the point where I could barely even pay a phone payment. I do not recommend working for this company, you are over worked for less than what you deserve.
