Pros

The benefits are great, and you meet some really nice people that care about you and your leadership. When you have a good head on your shoulders, your team relies on you and confides in you to get the help they need.

Cons

My last location was very toxic. My SM put me into a position that I didn't want and wasn't going to help my development and goals, they left out talking about all the great work I did for the past year in my review and mainly focused on negative things that are not just my responsibility but the entire management teams' responsibility, rated me lowest out of 6 ASM's including a first year manager (I had just passed 9.5 years) and my DM kept putting off meetings I requested to discuss my development and other topics. When I finally received another job offer and got paid out my remaining vacation time (after a lot of frustration trying to see the policy), I was not paid my remaining 9 hours of personal time per my request to use it my last week.

Pros

All employees work very well together and try their best to lift others up. Management will provide meals during busy times (such as holidays and Black Friday) and really do care about your well-being!

Cons

They are very focused on signing up customers for credit cards, to the point of borderline harassment at checkout. You can get in trouble for not asking each customer if they’d like to sign up at least 3 times.

Pros

Local store i shop there myself often great deals when you can find your size i loved marshalls before i worked there

Cons

Pushing the tjx card is taking away from being and doing the actual job of being a cashier and customer service, and running the front end with twice the responsibilities while constantly being told i am not pushin the card hard enough, we need to get atleast 1 each shift and 4 for the day is store goal, Management dowsnt see anything except how many tjx we have and if i am standing behind each cashier and coaching lol them to do better and correct them when they havent asked 3 times, ignore the Nos, and the customer saying no, then mentioned atleast 3 benifits , which honestly ..really , not all that helpful, i love my job and hate the way i am being judged on what is actually corprates failure to acknowledge that we are not salesmen, we are trying to handle your money and keep your customers happy, i would settle for them just require us to ask and push , in a non robotic , lol when you here 5 cashiers asking the same basic questions to each customer when your stanng in a line is ..ridiculous and you know before another customer steps up, they already heard you try and sell the last customer one, no matter how good your ..shpeel is lol, they already are praticing how they are gonna so no ...i need advice on how to coach , sell and be a better cec i guess so please if you can ..advice would be awesome...or i need to get a job at the supermarket , lol, are they pushing cards there yet .
