Pros

Best SpO2 technology otherwise not much else positive to say

Cons

Often fail to pay commissions outlined in comp plan, negative/punitive culture. Upper management does not listen to field. CEO is a dictator/tyrant, car allowance below industry standard.

Probably the worst company I have worked for in my career

Pros

Pay and benefits are good. The pulse ox tech is "me too" but probably slightly better than the competitors.

Cons

Too many to list here, but I completely agree with most of the other posts on this site. The management, at all levels is the worst that I have experienced at any company in my career. The bureaucracy is so ridiculous that it takes days or weeks to get the simplest tasks accomplished. People are rarely promoted from within and when they are it is because they were the best at kissing-you know what, not due to any talent or performance.

No Growth except if you're an Engineer

Pros

-POTENTIAL of really great products. -Most people in HR are very helpful and caring

Cons

-extremely high turn over: it seems most departments don't do enough to retain bright people and great talent- except if you are an Engineer. Furthermore, most people do not grow with the company, normal to have people in your group with less than one year experience in the role at Masimo. -Be prepared for micro management: this style of management trickles down, so if this is not how you like to be managed, seek employment elsewhere -very few processes that are actually followed which leads to some things that may be done in a questionable way -no formal training to use any of the devices (with the exception if you are an Engineer for that specific product), due to proprietary technology; therefore, difficult to communicate 'expertise' knowledge on any of the products. -company is very task oriented; therefore, one's own personal objectives is neglected -compensation for certain departments fare less than 20% for some positions compared to market value
