Pros

Good Pay, Great Vacation

Cons

The PI tool they use does not grade whether or not an employee wants to work. It tells you what a person is like but not what you really need to know like their drive, their want to be here, etc.. HR Team from the Top down is Not Trusted

Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate your candor and are always open to discuss how we calculate and interpret our attrition so please stop by to chat. We have made huge strides in compensation, benefits, training and development, communication, PTO and Volunteer Time Off (VTO) in the last 16 months and there is a direct correlation to our decreased attrition numbers. We always strive to expect the best from our employees but we also provide coaching and training as a solution. We have increased headcount by over 15% and are hiring during a difficult time when many other organizations are not. Once again, thank you for your feedback and should you want to meet with the People Team we are more than happy to sit down and listen. Thank you for your dedication to #TeamMaster

Pros

The owners are wonderful and involved

Cons

The company only has a plan for 2 years of pay increase for the warehouse and no more after that. I don't know if HR understands that some people are happy doing this as a career for the rest of their lives. You cant just stop at a 2 year pay increase if employees want to work there and make it their career. They need to have a yearly pay increase no matter what position an employee holds. It is not fair to give yearly increases to everyone that works in the office but not to the warehouse workers. It is terrible to have that mentality that just because we work in the warehouse does not mean we cant make that our career or get increases for every year we work for the company. They also need a plan for warehouse employees to grow into a higher title if they are not going to have higher positions for the warehouse employees to move into. It could be warehouse employee 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 to be able to progress instead of being stuck.

Pros

Ample parking close to the building.

Cons

This is a completely dead company selling little electronic parts like an unijunction plunket transistor or ambient trimmer potentiometer that 99.99% of people don't care or know about. It's the kind of obscure trinkets Radio Shack sold before it went bankrupt. Because it's a dead-end company, turnover is through the roof. It's so bad, a few months ago, a manager asked staff to post good reviews on job boards so folks would show up to the job fair. People with talent and ambition get bored and go elsewhere. Without attracting and retaining talent, the workplace reeks of mediocrity. They still use a UNIX-based system on green monochrome displays to manage their business. That's how sad it is. On the very best day, the workplace is dull and uninspiring where people go through the motions. On a typical day, there's toxic bullying, deception and favoritism because no one decent would want to be a manager here. If you're on the receiving end of abuse, don't even think of complaining to HR. This is a family-owned business and no way HR will ever punish the owners. A better route is to document the abuse and lawyer up.
