Pros

Great Cafeteria in Purchase, NY. Pay is above market. Bonuses and benefits are really decent. Lots of celebrations and free food and entertainment.

Cons

Some of the most inept managers in the industry, self entitled liars who manage up and will retaliate against employees. H.R. is useless and will tow the line to keep their jobs. Upper management is clueless as to what really goes on. There is a duality in what is preached compared to put into practice.

Pros

Brand name company and well recognized. Staff are very good. Salary and benefits good.....however.....

Cons

Mastercard must be worried. This video they made (above) is clearly trying to control the bad press about all their recent firings. There are many people finally speaking out about their age discrimination firings in the US and abroad. They are posting bogus jobs at locations (like Belgium) to give the impression that the office is still relevant when everyone internally knows all the jobs are going (or gone) to London and regions and the office is being closed in a few years. I know for a fact that internal HR people create bogus postings about how great the company is, on sites like Glassdoor to counteract the negative ones. HR and reviews are used as managers to get back at employees or get rid of employees. It is a great set up.

Pros

Strong support and dedication to ESG Documented mission and values are strong Lots of opportunities to contribute to culture activities Opportunities to show leadership skills Competitive pay and benefits

Cons

Ongoing budget reductions Flexibility in RTO back tracked with new 3+ day in-office weekly requirement Ongoing layoffs and not addressing them in transparent manner Some VP roles have no promotion potential and it's not being addressed Some leaders are very difficult to work for (unfriendly work conditions) and their trending behaviors are not being addressed by their own managers Reductions in onsite perks and seating available for staff making RTO even more difficult Internal job opportunities are often boxed in/limited to one work location making career growth difficult without leaving the company or relocating
