Mathnasium has a great training program and offers many opportunities to enhance your skills.

Cons

Kids can be stressful to work with 2-4 kids to one instructor, but in a rush, if under-scheduled, would work with up to 8 students.

Pros

Hours are flexible, working with kids can be great, the curriculum is straight-forward and can be modified for each kid, it's okay if you've forgotten something/don't know it and you're not required to teach it

Cons

Pay is only okay, experience could easily differ based on center director/owner, no raises, no real reason to stay on with the company, some of the kids are brats and there's no real way to make them do their work

The job is easy and fun if you enjoy teaching. Great environment and lots of freedom to do as you please within reason, depends on owner, etc.

Cons

Kids can get out of control and no sense of discipline again depends on management. The pay is not enough for all they want you to do.
