pay is good but benefits suck

Pros

They pay more than average for what you do compared to outside gov't contracting world so don't be afraid to ask for what you want pay wise.

Cons

Some of your coworkers may make more money than you but the company will deny it. It is hard for them to really know who you are since the company is big. Retirement and medical benefits are not competitive.

Clueless

Pros

Less responsibilities than in private practice

Cons

Rarely know what’s going on, communication between clinic leadership and contract company is virtually nonexistent, and you don’t get a pay increase ever. You make the same as everyone else wether you bust your butt or sit on it, which is why no one in the clinics cares about being good at their job.
