Pros

They offer a great employee discount. I have a wonderful store manager.

Cons

With a below average salary and under 20 hours a week you can't survive, always pushing the MCC which turns off customers- we are in a recession, constant sign and window changes- we are women, required MBA program and sales goals and store recovery- not enough time on a 4 hour shift, $20 Christmas bonus only good in store

Pros

Love that they always keep you learning they have several different training programs to go throughout your career to allow you to grow with the company. Its a great fit for anyone who has great people skills it makes your job easier and lots of fun. You have the opportunity to meet members from home office and even the buyers!

Cons

Making your sales goals can be hard to balance with doing some of your training at the same time but you learn that if your down one week the next week you can pull it back up

Maurices focuses on great customer service, so it was great to always do everything to make customers happy.

Cons

They put a large focus on setting and reaching goals. Which is great in theory, but when goals aren't met at Maurices, it can cost you your job.
