      Work is fairly easy not to draining Can promote if you want to The discounts ok

      Cons

      Obviously the credit card Even though your not working for commission sales are a huge deal which make associates katty The marketing and arranging the store all the time is time consuming and you get penalized cause your not selling it takes forever and there is never enough time the pay is not there Weird hours sometimes called in not to work even tho I'm a net producer and very hard working but we werent meeting sph left me in limbo a lot...a lot

      Worst Management Ever!

      Very Good Benefits for full time employees...meeting great customers!

      Cons

      To start with...the communication at Maurices is some of the worst ever. There is no communication between District Manager to employees (unless you are the Store Manager), the Store Managers word is always right, according to the District Manager and Home Office (no matter what they say), there is never fair treatment to employees, concerns/issues with management are brushed underneath the mat. And if you every do question your management, you will be the first on their list to get rid of "by whatever means necessary" (quote of previous Store Manager). Maurices would rather move someone accross the country to run their store instead of internal promotion...and the people that are promoted get there because they know what to say not by the work they do. This company is run by tons of people that can talk the talk but never walk the walk. You can do everything for this company but if one single person in management doesnt want you to succeed they wont and theyll make sure of that. Good Luck getting a promotion!
