I Loved Working For This Company

Pros

This is a really great company to work for. I thought that the opportunity for growth was amazing. I started out as a part time sales associate and within 9 months I was promoted to part time assistant and then to first assistant. I felt close to my co-workers and there is a lot of respect for each other and for the company.

Cons

I feel that the more you work up the more you are pressured to overwork. It was hard for me to find a good work/life balance. Also, I became a little too addicted to buying the merchandise and the my co-workers seemed to be the same way.

My view has changed over the years

Pros

Get a raise every year, so long as you are meeting your stats. Get paid hourly, but are expected to service customers like a commissionable job. Hours aren't bad at all, until holidays roll around. People and bosses can be fun to work with. Great vacations hours and medical insurance if you are full-time.

Cons

Can be VERY stressful with all the expectations they have, on top of your regular job duties. Not enough payroll hours for the stores to successfully fulfill all requirements from week to week. Discount hasn't risen, but most prices have gone up. Will not allow anyone in school to become full-time.
