Great people, managers are always friendly, fun environment. Energetic co workers and clean store. Overall great work environment

Cons

Slow at times, not many tasks to complete. Less employees so the ones that work regularly can pick up more hours if necessary.

Pros

When you work for Maurices, you know that your company truly cares about you. We have wonderful benefits and strive for internal promotions first. Our company sends us free goodies as incentives for achieving sales and other goals. We make many connections with customers on a daily basis and get to have one-on-one sales in a fast paced and high energy environment. Customer service is held as the highest priority.

Cons

A lot of the Store Managers run in a game of drama and politics. Depending on your area/market, your ability to advance will be based on who you know and whether you are a favorite in their eyes. There is little to no scheduling flexibility with any title. You will also spend a lot of money on updating your wardrobe every 2 weeks or so to stay current. Stores do not receive enough payroll to cover all company expectations. You will also be required to sell the store's credit card and maintain a certain ratio.
