Pros

The pay is reasonable and the benefits are average once you receive them. Nice new hire orientation and presentation. Pizza is given during orientation for company new hires only to mask and shield the ugly reality of working in this below standard operation. Absolutely nothing else is positive!

Cons

12 hour days 5 days a week and 8 hrs Saturday! Uninformed supervisors and managers. The HR department in Chicago is ran like a social club lacking discretion and confidentiality with sub par under-qualified HR personnel. The shop floor is ran like a sweat shop and very communistic third world approach. Payroll department will drop the ball and not process paychecks on time! Extremely dangerous working conditions and machinery that would never pass OSHA guidelines. Moving exposed chains and gears and sharp objects every where. Some rude and confrontational employees however most are nice. Over zealous managers with personality and control issues! The machines are down 60% or the time or running shabby and this place has deplorable quality issues with there products. If you have an ounce of self worth avoid this sweat box and take a temp job until something better arrives. Chicago location has potential, however management and personnel make this place a complete laughable joke! Stay away!

Pros

Working for a terrible company made me realize that the grass isn't always greener and helped me understand the kind of company and people I don't want to work with or for.

Cons

Despite conducting thorough research and finding mixed reviews, I decided to take the risk and join this company, thinking the challenge might be worthwhile. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the most demoralizing and frustrating job of my career. Every day felt like stepping into an environment that stifled growth and innovation. I'm relieved that my time there ended before I became just another disengaged employee stuck in a cycle of unproductive work. Communication within the company is virtually nonexistent. People rarely engage, but gossip is rampant, creating an unhealthy dynamic where rumors seem to substitute for genuine relationship-building. It quickly became clear that this was a highly toxic work environment. While the purpose of work is to complete tasks, the interactions were shockingly negative. Having previously worked in supportive and collaborative environments, this company's culture was a stark contrast, with many colleagues being outright rude or unapproachable. In terms of job performance, the systems and processes were disorganized at best. The record-keeping was so poor that they were unable to keep track of outstanding payments. The newly implemented financial management system was incredibly ineffective, and the workpapers from prior years were carried forward without improvement. With such unreliable inputs, it was impossible to produce quality results. If I were an investor, I wouldn’t trust the financial reports from this company. If you seek assistance, be prepared for delays or indifference. Cross-departmental communication was nearly impossible, and career development was non-existent. The company clearly had no interest in investing in its employees’ growth or success, which was incredibly disappointing. For those considering employment here, be prepared for an uphill battle in a disorganized and toxic environment. To the current employees: you deserve better than the bare minimum this company offers. Don't settle for a paycheck at the cost of your well-being and professional growth.
