Pros

Pay is great. Lots of overtime.

Cons

Hot and dirty environment. 90% of the employees are Latino. This makes communication difficult. While the machine operators work constantly, the maintenance guys take constant cigarette breaks and only really work when absolutely necessary. On the job training is non existent.

it's really easy and brain dead, so it's good if you just want to coast by

When coming from a quality background, bway is very frustrating and you quickly realize that quality does not matter. Anything that is out of specification is approved and sent anyways, so there really is no point to doing your job

Earned a lot of money and experience, but not a good company to work for, at least in my area!

Pros

Wage adjustment made it a nice paycheck. Reward hard work and lots of overtime. (Far too much at times though!) Great coworkers at the Sturtevant plant.

Cons

Lacking a safe environment. Cannot keep employees so they force everyone to work 60+ hours a week. 12 hour shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off but you rarely get your 4 full days off. HR is hard to get ahold of and rarely has your back after the first week. Far greater expectations than realistic with the equipment and help they give you.
