Pros

Good french fries haha, great people and co workers, cultural blending which helped improve my non native language skills, and eat great food, and experience new and truly awesome parts of the myriad cultures I've been fortunate enough to work with.

Cons

Outdated hardware and software, outdated mindsets about technology, too disconnected as a fast food company to be on the cutting edge which would arguably improve any company, especially one so large. Poor communication between the corporation and the franchisees, and many employees not having the proper education to fulfill the role they've been given creates a recipe for frustration. Not exactly a challenging endeavor at this point for me.

Pros

Most people that work here as crew members are honest and good-natured.

Cons

Managers lie and cheat employees out of earned pay. Managers don't train you properly the first week so they can justify low wages. They don't want you to grow and they don't want to promote you, because it costs them "too much money". I work in San Antonio's new Talley road establishment and many of the managers micromanage employees and put you down and put unnecessary pressure even during peak hours. Store is SEVERELY understaffed. On average days I do two stations simultaneously for 12 dollars even though they said they would pay 14/hr after training. So they never train me anymore even though they were supposed to do that the first week. Bad working conditions, managers will try to rush you at every opportunity and let other workers push you around. Managers never talk to their employees to check up on them individually. They just decide your schedule FOR you.

Pros

I was pretty much forced to go around and awkwardly ask phones to write a review for ourselves. Me being a writer I took the opportunity to make funny reviews. A rockstar, a hippie, a sassy mom, the possibilities are endless.

Cons

Okay, you get hours but by hours I mean crazy hours. On a couple of occasions, I went home from work and slept for 4 hours got up, and went straight back to that god-forsaken hell. Why how could this happen. They don't follow the scheduling, which mind you is already terrible. You are not off on your scheduled time ur off when they tell you. They hold your meal break till the last possible second. And sometimes let you violate because to give someone else a meal because of how poor they keep track. If you inform on a doctor appointment or other occasion best believe you should just cancel cause if you say you need to be there at 3 in the afternoon, guess what you're of 10 minutes before 3 in the afternoon. My Orthodontist is a 2 hr job, excuse me. On another occasion, I need to go to the doctor and they held my break from me but decided to make me leave so late. I went in panic mode trying to get food before the doctor and was 30 minutes late. Not only that but they refuse to get the police involved during dangerous situations.
