Pros

Stable industry with good benefits eg. health plan, profit sharing, and retirement options. Nice office and good locations. A lot of different departments and areas for lateral movement.

Cons

No work life balance, however that varies with the department. Not the easiest place for a promotion. Expectations and culture varies greatly throughout the firm.

Pros

The pay far exceeds the average $ amount paid per hour in the Valley area for a call center. The benefits are pretty good. There is an reimbursement program for gyms and childcare.

Cons

No room for advancement, even though they push you to try to advance you reach a certain CSR level and they block you from going any further. If you don't work overtime they suddenly could care less about you. The Quality requirements change daily, and CSR's on not notified of changes so your QA's fluctuate from month to month. Management still doesn't know what's going on and it changes every 3 months. In the 2 years I was there I had 4 different supervisors.
