Not for Everyone

Pros

Fair pay for the amount of work you do. Great work life balance.

Cons

Horrible upper management - they hire smart people and then have them do menial tasks. You definitely feel like a number and not a person. They take pride in treating you like an infant and micromanaging you. Finally, they give you monthly reviews and they are so transaction focused they sometimes forget about the big picture.

Bad Management

Pros

Great pay, benefits and fantastic co-workers.

Cons

The work was often extremely boring. There is little or no opportunity for advancement within the company. This is due to the company's preference to hire their management trainees directly from college (no management experience) from top notch schools. What they fail to realize is that the people they are actually able to recruit from these schools are those that can't find work anywhere else (not talented). The management staff is very unprofessional and the organization is poor at leveraging their talented employees and rich culture toward a healthy work place.
