Unsurprisingly boring

Pros

-Mediocre base salary but with great profit sharing at the end of year. This previous bonus was 48% (of annual salary, so be sure to negotiate a higher base) -Every single day is going to start and end at the same time so its easy to maintain work/life balance -Every single day will be slight alterations of the exact same day, same tasks, over and over so no surprises -You could probably have a functioning alcoholic do this job

Cons

-This is by far the most boring work I have ever done. I think my job at 16 at a movie theatre had more brainwork. -Every day is the same -Advancement internally is non-existent -Remote work detachment is real, if you train with another new hire you'll at least have them as a contact but otherwise expect no connection to your team or supervisor. The upside to this is no guilt in resigning. This isn't a dish on remote work, but culture.

Pros

Pay/Benefits are phenomenal for a college graduate

Cons

The benefits and pay are so good because they are just hiring competitive, collage age kids to do minimum wage work extremely accurate because college graduates have pride in their work. They abuse that pride. Your body will hurt, but your bank account will not. You will not need OT so your work/life balance is good because you will be completing 9-10 hours of work within the 8 hours you are there.

Pros

Benefits and profit sharing are tops in the industry.

Cons

You are working at an extremely fast pace the entire day and barely have time to use the restroom. Direct supervisors are fresh out of select universities and have little to no management experience, and turnover for management is high. Since the supervisors are young, most don’t have families and can’t relate to an employee if they are experiencing difficulties at home. This inability to relate has harbored ill feelings towards management, and as a result few people are willing to put in extra time when operations are running lean. Management’s Expectations for high quality and efficiency are extreme, and has almost everyone concerned about losing their job on a daily basis. So much so that the stress level actually causes employees to be unable to concentrate on the task at hand for a full 8 hours, so their policies are actually counterproductive.
