Pros

Ever since I got my offer originally from McMaster-Carr, I wanted to know what the catch would be or when my bubble would burst. This company shows its care for its employees through the benefits that they offer and how they support life outside of work. Benefits include: great compensation, unreal bonuses, good PTO/leave allowances, great work/life balance, etc. Essentially anything you need to feel comfortable and pursue your life passions, McMaster-Carr provides. The company is also very self-aware of areas for improvement and are actively working to better themselves operationally, and as a place to work. Sometimes it's slow-moving, but that's to be expected of a large, lean company like this.

Cons

The work isn't the most tantalizing, sometimes it feels repetitive, but you're only doing it 40 hrs/week not 12 hr days or anything so it's doable. Expectations are HIGH - which they should be when you're getting paid what you do in these roles. All of the negative reviews are from people who didn't meet the standards, and wanted to blame the company rather than themselves for falling short in their jobs. In my experience, the expectations have always pushed me to be a better employee, and each manager I've had has supported me as long as I've been willing to learn and they've helped me reach my goals.
