      Pros

      The CEO was a dream to work for. The team are hard-working and by and large are best in class coders. The flexibility was amazing and the benefits were excellent! I loved my time with Medkoder and the wonderful people I worked with there. I was able to grow with the company - there are opportunities to progress and develop. I was mentored and supported every step of the way!

      Cons

      The nature of contracting work with clients results in some stress and challenges for management to keep everyone working, but the CEO always made sure everyone was covered. Maternity leave was unpaid - but they offered short term disability and allowed me to take the number of weeks I wanted, which was very generous compared to competitors.

      Pros

      Time flexibility, variety of work and projects available. Corporate membership with AAPC is paid for the employees.

      Cons

      Sometimes getting silo'ed in a project and not interacting with co-workers from a past project.
