      Expect Burnout

      Pros

      Specialties offer high quality, dynamic veterinary care. There is potential to learn a lot in these specialties. The pay is better than most general practices.

      Cons

      This location is chronically understaffedand overworked. Support staff are not provided a living wage and raises are very limited. Management are very poor communicators. Promises are often broken, unless it is in writing. This is all very typical of the way support staff are treated in veterinary medicine.

      Great Company

      Pros

      Good medicine. Lots of learning opportunities. Great benefits that start on day 1 of being hired. Friendly coworkers.

      Cons

      High stress environment but thats the nature of emergency medicine. Lots of management turn over.

      Not practicing what they preach
