Pros

you get a decent salary and there is great flexibility when it comes to taking time off.

Cons

management seems to either be in over their heads or they really just don't care to fix issues which arise. the turn over rate is quite high and needs to be looked in to.

Plenty of contact with patients and their "parents". I love getting to know other pet owners and share.

Cons

The down side is always the sad part working in a veterinary environment.

Good people and it's a perfect place to work if you care about dogs

Cons

Management is not very forthcoming about how you're doing until the last minute, at which point if you need improvement, they'll slap you with a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) and then from there you're worried about losing the job if you don't improve to their satisfaction.
