Pros

I love the staff and other employees in my department. The 24/7 services teams are some of the best people I have ever met. Incredible use of and practice of medicine. Truly some of the best equipment to work with overall.

Cons

They do not treat their employees with enough respect. Senior Management treats us like children and give us child-like incentives to work harder--like pizza parties and coloring books. They do not compensate fairly either, especially in the midst of a pandemic where we are seeing increased numbers of patients and increased revenue. No hazard pay or other bonuses, and they delayed our annual merit based raises for months because of the oncoming pandemic.

Pros

I see the values of Teamwork, Leadership, and Compassion personified each day by co-workers and those who I just meet for the first time. It has been a while since I worked in an environment whose values are on full display. I am a values driven person and am motivated when I see that I am part of something bigger than myself. I feel connected to the work I do and those who I work with.

Cons

There are moments when I think I have to do everything right the first time, or else something terrible can happen to a patient . I understand the high stakes nature of the environment. When it comes to certain things, it feels as if there is no room to learn from mistakes.
