Pros

I think the title of the review says it all. I’ve worked at some real stinkers in my time, so I think I can tell a solid company when I see one. MG is one super solid company to work for. To date, every person I’ve come across has been so helpful, passionate, and knowledgeable about the products we offer. You can tell the people here are passionate about helping folks. The benefits are better than most places I’ve worked and I think the PTO offered is pretty solid as well!

Cons

Sometimes communication between departments can be lacking, which can be a little frustrating.

Pros

I am a recent new employee here at Medial Guardian and it has been such an amazing experience so far! I have been in the Sales industry for over 10 years and this has been the most innovative company that I have ever worked for; I can tell that the growth and expansion will only continue. There seems to be little to no stress among the Agents and Management, which enhances the work environment. The culture and the staff that reside here are very positive and inviting, as it truly does seem to stem from the CEO himself as well as the HR staff. This company exhibits care and dedication to their clients and employees, along with the opportunity for advancement. The compensation, company events & perks are always fun, not to mention the location is awesome, as it's close to so many great restaurants! With that being said, this company is simply outstanding!

Cons

Increase PTO days from 15 to to 21-23 days (depending on LOS of employees and Management) and shorten the PTO request window, as it's currently at 21 days in advance. Provide rotating shifts for employees more often to allow for 2 days off in a row at least once a month. The commute can be frustrating if you do not live close to the city, as pubic transportation is not always convenient or on time, therefore employees can/are held liable for lateness, which can result in disciplinary actions. Parking can be very expensive, but that's a result of the buildings garage cost and not Medical Guardian.
