Pros

- Very flexible work schedule ensures work life balance. Includes possibility of working from home when appropriate. - The absolute BEST team environment to work in globally. Everyone you work with feels like family, and often various teams get together after work to do stuff as well. - Friendly and highly knowledgable staff good with knowledge sharing, so you can improve your skills and broaden your horizons. You will not have any trouble growing yourself here individually. There is also an 'innovation time' 2-week sabbatical that you can take to explore your own development project and innovate. - Facilities are improving with new facilities being planned in Tokyo and New York. - Exciting development projects. You always use the latest technology and are given good tools to innovate and stimulate your creativity. - Management proactively makes sure that the employees are happy, and gives proper and appropriate guidance for improvement.

Cons

- A little too top-heavy in certain areas, sometimes creates some pressure in the office, especially with sales. - No current solid-system on career advisement and tracks, however, this is being built out at the moment. Especially with regards to 'tenured' advancement where people are in the same or similar position over a number of years with no vertical or lateral prospects. - No solid learning and education strategy, but this is also being developed at this time. - Some scalability problems in some areas over the years, which is common in a fast growing company like Medidata. The company has hired fresh talent and executive management recently who can tackle scalability concerns and grow the business properly.

Beautiful Office, friendly/flexible employees and management. Lots of career opportunities as such a growing company.

Cons

Lots of change in management recently, once this has settled down it will be easier to get to grips with the organisation structure. Benefits are currently being reviewed so this will turn into a pro.
